Everyone can Paraglide
Our instructors do all the heavy lifting, all that’s required from you is a short walk or run for the launch, depending on the conditions.
Age 14 years +
All persons over the age of 14 years old can enjoy a paragliding training flight with us. Come and experience the thrill for yourself and then go on to get your paragliding license!
Weight
Our instructors can carry passengers of all shapes and sizes. Our minimum weight is 20kg and our maximum weight is 120kg.

Our tandem paragliding flights take off from Signal Hill and Lion’s Head.
We choose the best launch site depending on the wind’s strength and direction.
Some days we start at Signal Hill and other times from Lion’s Head always making sure you have the best experience and safest flight.

Flying with Cape Paragliding is safe and amazing.
What you need to know.
- All flights are weather dependent and the scheduled time can change at any time due to weather conditions.
- Only closed shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots will be permitted. No sandals or flip-flops.
- Long pants and a long-sleeved top recommended.
- We provide transport from landing back to signal hill if required.
- Photos and Videos will be downloaded with an adapter onto your mobile phone after the flight.
- We will always give our best to make your flight as long as possible but the weather dictates how long the actual flight will be. Your flight will vary from 6 to 20min.
- No refunds on flights, in the event of unflyable weather we will reschedule at your convenience.
